How to use the Bible reader
The main reader works without an account. Most personal settings and saved items remain only in this browser.
Read by book and chapter
Open Bible books, choose one of the 66 books, then choose a chapter. Chapter pages include numbered verse anchors and previous/next navigation.
Search Scripture
Use Search in the reader and enter a reference such as “John 3:16” or a phrase of at least three letters. Results open in the active language edition when localized search data is available.
Listen and save
Read aloud uses voices installed by the browser or device. Save, highlight or add a private note from the verse action. Hymn audio streams only when selected and is not downloaded as a complete library.
Languages and display
Open Settings to choose one of the 35 active Scripture languages, theme, text size and line spacing. Right-to-left editions automatically change the reading direction.
Advertising privacy
Advertising remains off unless the production account is eligible and the required consent has been granted. Open Settings to review the advertising choice, or read the Privacy Policy.
